Hi, I’m Faranak! I come from Iran. There, I have studied MA in Animation at Tehran University of Art, and currently, I am studying MA in Expanded Media at Hochschule Darmstadt (hda). As a visual artist, animator, and filmmaker, storytelling is at the heart of everything I do.
I’ve been working as a student assistant with the hda Language Center to document the Darmstadt Week event and manage the DaCaDu 2025 blog, and it’s been an amazing experience. What I really appreciate about the Language Center is how they’re exploring new ways to teach languages, like using extended reality—it makes learning more immersive and exciting.
Beyond that, it’s been really special to meet students from all over the world, hear their stories, and build meaningful connections. This whole journey has been incredibly rewarding!
سلام! من فرانک هستم و اهل ایرانم. من در دانشگاه هنر تهران، کارشناسی ارشد انیمیشن خوندم، و الان در حال گذروندن دوره کارشناسی ارشد رسانه‌های گسترده در دانشگاه دارمشتات هستم. به‌عنوان یک تصویرساز، انیماتور و فیلم‌ساز، همیشه عاشق داستان‌گویی بودم.
این مدت با مرکز زبان دانشگاه دارمشتات کار کردم تا رویداد هفته دارمشتات رو مستند کنم و همینطور وبسایت مربوط به اون رو مدیریت کنم. این برای من تجربه خیلی خوبی بوده! اینکه مرکز زبان از روش‌های جدید برای آموزش استفاده می‌کنه برای من خیلی جالب بوده—مثل استفاده از واقعیت گسترده، که یادگیری زبان رو جذاب‌تر و هیجان‌انگیزتر می‌کنه.
علاوه بر اون، دیدن دانشجوهایی از کشورهای مختلف، شنیدن داستان‌هاشون و ایجاد دوستی‌های جدید، واقعا برام ارزشمند بوده. این مسیر، بیشتر از چیزی که فکر می‌کردم، برای من پربار و دوست‌داشتنی بوده!
