I am Katerina Giorgallou, a third-year Computer Engineering and Informatics student at the Cyprus University of Technology in Cyprus. I am passionate about Virtual Reality and Artificial Intelligence. Outside my studies, I work as a Social Media Manager at the CUTing Edge Limassol and am currently participating in a training program focused on VR at the CUTing Edge. I am also continuing my internship as a Software Support Officer at Prevention at Sea, a maritime company in Larnaca, Cyprus.
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my friends and family or staying at home watching movies. I am looking forward to learn new things from the other DACADU participants and gain valuable insights to further my passion for Virtual Reality. It is also important to me to explore Germany and Darmstadt University of Applied Sciences.
Είμαι φοιτήτρια τρίτου έτους Μηχανικής Υπολογιστών και Πληροφορικής στο Τεχνολογικό Πανεπιστήμιο Κύπρου. Με ενδιαφέρει η Εικονική Πραγματικότητα και η Τεχνητή Νοημοσύνη. Εκτός από τις σπουδές μου, εργάζομαι ως Social Media Manager στο CUTing Edge Limassol και συμμετέχω σε ένα εκπαιδευτικό πρόγραμμα με επίκεντρο την Εικονική Πραγματικότητα στο CUTing Edge. Επίσης, συνεχίζω την πρακτική μου ως Software Support Officer στην Prevention at Sea, μια ναυτιλιακή εταιρεία στη Λάρνακα, Κύπρο.
Στον ελεύθερο χρόνο μου, απολαμβάνω να περνάω χρόνο με τους φίλους και την οικογένειά μου ή να μένω στο σπίτι παρακολουθώντας ταινίες. Ανυπομονώ να μάθω νέα πράγματα από τους άλλους συμμετέχοντες του DACADU και να αποκτήσω πολύτιμες γνώσεις για να προχωρήσω το πάθος μου για την Εικονική Πραγματικότητα. Επίσης, είναι σημαντικό για μένα να εξερευνήσω τη Γερμανία και το Πανεπιστήμιο Εφαρμοσμένων Επιστημών του Ντάρμστατ.
