A Memorable Week in Germany

My week in Germany has offered me a great amount of experiences – offering me brand new experiences and friends. I’ve had lots of conversations with all sorts of people from different backgrounds, joked together, ate together and overall, had great fun together. It was quite an eye – opening experience, as I managed to see how students from other departments handle their projects, learn how to communicate my ideas with them, and give a clearer explanation of my concepts. Through the VR experience at the Timeride, I’ve been heavily inspired to immerse myself in more VR activities, as I felt like it gave me a great experience of how life was in another era, something that isn’t possible to do in real life. It made me excited to see how much VR technologies can improve in the future. I would also like to note the fact that this programme assisted me in brainstorming ideas in regards of VR usage, I’ve come to know more what it is exactly, what functions it has and how users interact with it. In terms of entertainment, my favorite part was the trip to Heidelberg. Personally, I’m a big fan of nature, so getting to see an area that is a bit more rural in a foreign land, excited me a lot. I loved exploring the castle, the town and experiencing the serenity of German nature. I’ve also loved riding a train for the first time – it was such a convenient mean of transportation!
All in all, it was a great experience that I would love to live again. I’m actively looking for more opportunities as such, for I really feel that my horizons were broadened through it.
