0 Wer bin ich / Who am I?

Hallo! Ich bin Savvina aus Limassol

Hello! My name is Savvina Markidou, and I am a Computer Engineer student at Cyprus University of Technology (CUT). Along my studies, I work at CUTing Edge in Limassol as the Supervisor of Equipment and Storage. This role sparked my interest in virtual reality, as I often worked with advanced equipment. My curiosity turned into hands-on experience when I collaborated on a university project for a professor. We explored applications like “Dreams of Dali” and “Open Brush”, which showed me how VR can bring creativity and technology together in immersive ways.

Outside my academics and work, I enjoy staying active and creative. I practise Taekwondo, which has taught me discipline and focus, and I love playing video games. They allow me to explore virtual worlds and connect with my friends, further fueling my appreciation for interactive technology.

I am excited to share more about my heritage, hobbies, and VR experiences with the DACADU community.
